elcome to the Micronutrient Forum website! Since its establishment in 2006, the Micronutrient Forum has served as a catalyst and convener for sharing scientific and programmatic findings, and experience relevant to the control of micronutrient deficiencies and their consequences around the globe. The Forum is the successor of two scientific organizations aimed at advancing the prevention of vitamin A and iron deficiencies- the International Vitamin A Consultative Group (IVACG) and the International Nutritional Anemia Consultative Group (INACG), which were both founded in 1975 by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Micronutrient Forum primarily focuses on micronutrient deficiencies of public health significance, particularly vitamin A, iron, folate, iodine, and zinc.
